Frequently, we are asked questions about visiting the Wellness Agora. In order to have a stress-free experience when you plan your visit, you will find answers to the most common questions below.

Our facility is adjacent to St. Louis University (SLU) campus. Street parking is available on Forest Park Ave. and on Spring Street next to our facility. If there is nothing available there, you may also park at SLU’s Laclede parking garage at 3602 Laclede Ave., which is a couple minutes walk from our facility. The cost is $2/hour with a $6/day maximum.

The nearest MetroLink train station is the Grand Station, located between Saint Louis University’s north campus and the SLU Medical Center on Grand Boulevard. There are also buses that go to and from the Grand Station. Find your best route to and from The Wellness Agora and plan your trip by visiting Metro’s online Trip Finder or by downloading the Transit app available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

The MetroLink will take you directly to and from the airport. Visit for information, routes and schedules. 

If not, taxis in St. Louis cost about $2 for the first 1/10 mile, then $2 for each additional mile. Rates are for one person; there is usually a charge for extra passengers. Be sure to request information for specific charges when you call.

As a wellness center focused on relaxation and rejuvenation, you should wear comfortable clothing. You might consider bringing a pair of slippers or other comfortable shoes for inside the building. We provide lockers for you to store your belongings while in the facility.

If you are doing Power Fitness or Virtual Fitness, we recommending wearing tennis shoes. We also recommend bringing a change of underwear for Power Fitness.

If you are doing our Facial Renew service, please wear a shirt that allows your neck to be exposed and be prepared to remove your makeup for the service.

When you do our Iso Float service, you do not need to bring anything. You do not need a bathing suit. We provide earplugs, towels, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We have a hair dryer in our vestibule. If you’d like to bring your own shower shoes, you’re welcome to. You can use your own products after floating, but please use ours before entering the tank. Arrive 10 minutes early your first time so one of our staff can walk you through the process.

If you are claustrophobic, you can float with the pod open and with the lights on if you prefer. Most people find it very comfortable, but feel free to stop by and check it out if you have any concern.
